Biography of Oswald Avery

Oswald Avery (* 21. October 1877 in Halifax; † 2. February 1955 in Nashville) was a kanadischer Mediziner. He was 77 years old. His education included Colgate University and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He worked at The Rockefeller University. He received 6 awards, including Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research, Copley Medal. His cause of death was liver cancer.
