Biography of Otmar Suitner

Otmar Suitner (* 16. May 1922 in Innsbruck; † 8. January 2010 in Berlin) was a österreichischer Dirigent. He was 87 years old. He studied at Mozarteum University Salzburg. He worked at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He received 4 awards, including National Prize of East Germany, Star of People's Friendship. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease. He was buried at Dorotheenstadt Cemetery.
