Biography of Otto Haupt

Otto Haupt (* 5. March 1887 in Würzburg; † 10. November 1988 in Bad Soden am Taunus) was a deutscher Mathematiker. He was 101 years old. His education included University of Würzburg, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and University of Wrocław. He worked at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and University of Rostock. His awards include Bavarian Order of Merit, Karl-Georg-Christian-von-Staudt-Preis and honorary doctorate from University of Nantes.
