Owen Dodson (* 28. November 1914 in Brooklyn; † 21. June 1983 in New York City) was an american writer. He was 68 years old. His education included Yale School of Drama and Bates College. He worked at Clark Atlanta University, Howard University, Spelman College, Atlanta University and Hampton Institute. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
