Biography of Paul Appell

Paul Appell (* 27. September 1855 in Strasbourg; † 24. October 1930 in 6th arrondissement of Paris) was a französischer Mathematiker. He was 75 years old. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His education included École Normale Supérieure, lycée Henri-Poincaré and University of Paris. He worked at University of Paris, Science Faculty of Paris and École Centrale Paris. His awards include Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Poncelet Prize and Jean Reynaud Prize.
