Biography of Paul Engle

Paul Engle (* 12. October 1908 in Cedar Rapids; † 22. March 1991 in Chicago) was a poet, fiction writer, academic. He was 82 years old. He was married to Hualing Nieh Engle. His education included Columbia University, University of Iowa, Coe College, Washington High School and Merton College. He worked at University of Iowa. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Rhodes Scholarship.
