Paul J. Alpers (* 16. October 1932; † 19. May 2013 in Northampton) was an american literary scholar. He was 80 years old. He studied at Harvard University. He worked at University of California, Berkeley. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
