Biography of Pawel Witaljewitsch Gajew

Pawel Witaljewitsch Gajew (* 17. August 1901 in Nizhny Tagil; † 5. October 1943 in Kremenchuk) was a soviet military intelligence officer, Red Army guards colonel. He was 42 years old. He studied at Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Red Banner, Order of the Patriotic War, 1st class. His cause of death was combat. He was buried at Poltava.
