Biography of Per-Olov Löwdin

Per-Olov Löwdin (* 28. October 1916 in Uppsala; † 6. October 2000 in Uppsala Cathedral Assembly) was a schwedischer Physiker. He was 83 years old. He was married to Inga Löwdin. He studied at Uppsala University. He worked at University of Florida and Uppsala University. His awards include Fellow of the American Physical Society, Björkén Prize and doctor honoris causa from the Pierre and Marie Curie University. He was buried at Uppsala Old Cemetery.
