Petro Halych (* 12. July 1923 in Hlynsk; † 13. January 2005 in Kyiv) was an ukrainian chemist. He was 81 years old. He studied at Lviv Polytechnic. He worked at Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Институт физико-органической химии и углехимии им. Л. М. Литвиненко and Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry. His awards include Honored Scientist of Ukraine and L. V. Pisarzhevsky Prize.
