Biography of Philip Larkin

Philip Larkin (* 9. August 1922 in Coventry; † 2. December 1985 in Kingston upon Hull) was an englischer Dichter, Autor und Jazzkritiker. He was 63 years old. His education included St John's College and King Henry VIII School, Coventry. He worked at University of Hull and University of Leicester. He received 5 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Cholmondeley Award. His cause of death was esophageal cancer. He was buried at Cottingham.
