Biography of Philippe Levillain

Philippe Levillain (* 27. November 1940 in 17th arrondissement of Paris; † 4. October 2021 in Suresnes) was a french historian. He was 80 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Paris Nanterre University. He worked at Paris Nanterre University and French School of Rome. He received 7 awards, including Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms, Commander of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
