Biography of Philippe Ricord

Philippe Ricord (* 10. December 1800 in Baltimore; † 22. October 1889 in Paris) was a französischer Chirurg und Arzt für Geschlechtskrankheiten. He was 88 years old. He worked at Hôtel-Dieu de Paris, Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Hôpital Cochin and École pratique des hautes études. His awards include Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Montyon Prize and Knight of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
