Pichu Sambamurthy (* 14. February 1901 in Bitragunta; † 23. October 1973) was an indian musicologist, writer and professor of musicology. He was 72 years old. He studied at University of Music and Theatre Munich. He was awarded the Fellow of the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
