Biography of Pierre Aubenque

Pierre Aubenque (* 23. July 1929 in L'Isle-Jourdain; † 23. February 2020 in Versailles) was a französischer Philosophiehistoriker. He was 90 years old. He studied at École Normale Supérieure. He worked at University of Hamburg, Paris-Sorbonne University - Paris IV, University of Montpellier, Marie and Louis Pasteur University and Aix-Marseille University (1896-1971). He received 4 awards, including honorary doctorate at the Laval University, honorary doctorate of the University of Santiago de Compostela.
