Biography of Pierre Citron

Pierre Citron (* 19. April 1919 in 17th arrondissement of Paris; † 10. November 2010 in 4th arrondissement of Paris) was a französischer Musikologe, Romanist und Literaturwissenschaftler. He was 91 years old. He was married to Suzanne Citron. He studied at Faculty of Arts of Paris. He worked at National Center for Scientific Research, Institut français du Royaume-Uni, University of Clermont-Ferrand (1896-1976), Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3 and University of Paris. His awards include bourse Goncourt de la biographie and Prix Henri-Mondor. He was buried at Montjustin.
