Biography of Pierre Merlin

Pierre Merlin (* 6. May 1937 in Metz; † 3. February 2026 in 3rd arrondissement of Paris) was a french geographer and academic. He was 88 years old. His education included Prytanée National Militaire, École polytechnique, Paris Institute of Statistics and University of Paris. He was awarded the Officer of the Legion of Honour.
