Biography of Pierre Messmer

Pierre Messmer (* 20. March 1916 in Vincennes; † 29. August 2007 in 5th arrondissement of Paris) was a 83rd Prime Minister of France. He was 91 years old. His education included École Nationale de la France d'Outre-Mer, Lycée Louis-le-Grand, Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and Lycée Charlemagne. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 9 awards, including Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys.
