Biography of Pierre Riché

Pierre Riché (* 4. October 1921 in 14th arrondissement of Paris; † 6. May 2019 in Ivry-sur-Seine) was a französischer Historiker. He was 97 years old. His education included Faculty of Arts of Paris, Lycée Henri-IV and Lycée Janson-de-Sailly. He worked at University of Rennes, Paris Nanterre University, Tunis University and Ahmed Reda Houhou High School. He received 8 awards, including prix Eugène-Colas, Knight of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Marly-le-Roi.
