Pieter Eduard Verkade (* 21. May 1891 in Zaandam; † 17. September 1979 in The Hague) was a dutch chemist and university professor. He was 88 years old. He studied at Delft University of Technology. He worked at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology. He was awarded the Patterson-Crane Award.
