Biography of Pio Rajna

Pio Rajna (* 8. July 1847 in Sondrio; † 25. November 1930 in Florence) was an italienischer Romanist. He was 83 years old. His education included Ghislieri College and University of Pavia. He worked at Istituto di Studi Superiori di Firenze. His awards include honorary doctorate from the University of Strasbourg, doctor honoris causa from the University of Paris and Corresponding Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America.
