Biography of Predrag Matvejević

Predrag Matvejević (* 7. October 1932 in Mostar; † 2. February 2017 in Zagreb) was a croatian writer. He was 84 years old. His education included University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Arts of Paris and Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3. He received 9 awards, including Order of Arts and Letters, Commander of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity. He was buried at Mirogoj Cemetery.
