Biography of Rafail Scholomowitsch Ganelin

Rafail Scholomowitsch Ganelin (* 16. October 1926 in Saint Petersburg; † 12. October 2014 in Saint Petersburg) was a russian historian. He was 87 years old. He studied at Saint Petersburg State Institute of History. He worked at Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. His awards include Order of Friendship and Medal "In Commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of Saint Petersburg". He was buried at Preobrazhenskoe Jewish Cemetery.
