Biography of Randall Jarrell

Randall Jarrell (* 6. May 1914 in Nashville; † 14. October 1965 in Chapel Hill) was an uS-amerikanischer Dichter, Literaturkritiker, Kinderbuchautor, Essayist und Romanautor. He was 51 years old. His education included Kenyon College, Vanderbilt University and Hume-Fogg High School. He worked at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Sarah Lawrence College. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and National Book Award for Poetry. His cause of death was struck by vehicle. He was buried at Greensboro.
