Richard Carr (* 3. December 1925 in El Centro; † 9. November 2002 in Springfield) was a chief of Chaplains of the United States Air Force. He was 76 years old. His education included Fuller Theological Seminary and Whitworth University. He was awarded the Legionnaire of Legion of Merit. His cause of death was leukemia. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
