Biography of Richard E. Cavazos

Richard E. Cavazos (* 31. January 1929 in Kingsville; † 29. October 2017 in San Antonio) was a general der United States Army. He was 88 years old. His education included Texas Tech University, United States Army Command and General Staff College, University of Texas at Arlington and Henrietta M. King High School. He received 5 awards, including Bronze Star Medal, Legionnaire of Legion of Merit. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease. He was buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
