Richard Harris (* October 1, 1930 in Limerick; † October 25, 2002 in University College Hospital) was an irish actor, singer, film director and writer. He was 72 years old. He was married to Elizabeth Harris Aitken and Ann Turkel. His education included London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and Crescent College. He received 6 awards, including Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, British Independent Film Award – The Richard Harris Award. His cause of death was Hodgkin lymphoma. He was buried at The Bahamas.
