Richard Wall Lyman (* 18. October 1923 in Philadelphia; † 27. May 2012 in Palo Alto) was an uS-amerikanischer Historiker, Präsident der Stanford-Universität. He was 88 years old. His education included Harvard University, Swarthmore College and Hamden Hall Country Day School. He worked at Stanford University and Washington University in St. Louis. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Harvard Centennial Medal and Fulbright Scholarship.
