Biography of Rip Torn

Rip Torn (* 6. February 1931 in Temple; † 9. July 2019 in Lakeville) was an american actor. He was 88 years old. He was married to Geraldine Page and Ann Wedgeworth. He had 6 children. His education included Texas A&M University, University of Texas at Austin, Taylor High School and Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. His awards include Theatre World Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease. He was buried at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
