Biography of Robert Alexander Falla

Robert Alexander Falla (* 21. July 1901 in Palmerston North; † 23. February 1979 in Eastbourne) was a new Zealand ornithologist and museum director. He was 77 years old. His education included Auckland Grammar School and University of Auckland. He worked at Canterbury Museum, Dominion Museum and Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira. He received 4 awards, including Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George.
