Robert Forster (* 1. January 1926; † 12. May 2020) was an american historian. He was 94 years old. His education included Swarthmore College, Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University. He worked at Johns Hopkins University. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms and honorary doctor of the University of Toulouse-II. His cause of death was heart failure.
