Roderich Schmidt (* 7. February 1925 in Demmin; † 12. September 2011 in Marburg) was a deutscher Historiker. He was 86 years old. He worked at University of Marburg and University of Greifswald. He was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
