Biography of Roger Portal

Roger Portal (* 6. May 1906 in Ambert; † 30. December 1994 in Mantes-la-Jolie) was a französischer Osteuropa-Historiker.. He was 88 years old. His education included Faculty of Arts of Paris, University of Clermont-Ferrand (1896-1976), École nationale des langues orientales vivantes and University of Montpellier. He worked at School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts of Paris and University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He was awarded the Broquette-Gonin prize.
