Roh Tae-woo (* 4. December 1932 in Daegu; † 26. October 2021 in Seoul National University Hospital) was a president of South Korea from 1988 to 1993. He was 88 years old. He was married to Kim Ok-sook. His education included Korea Military Academy and Kyeongbuk High School. His faith was Buddhism. His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George, Grand Order of Mugunghwa and Order of the Crown of the Realm. His cause of death was asthma. He was buried at Donghwa Gyeongmo Park.
