Ronald Harwood (* November 9, 1934 in Cape Town; † September 8, 2020 in Sussex) was a south African dramatist and playwright. He was 85 years old. He had 3 children. His education included Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and Sea Point High School. His awards include Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, Academy Award for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay and Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
