Biography
Ryuichi Sakamoto (* January 17, 1952 in Nakano; † March 28, 2023 in Tokyo) was a japanese composer. He was 71 years old. He was married to Akiko Yano. He had 3 children. His education included Soshigaya Elementary School, Tokyo Metropolitan Shinjuku High School and Tokyo University of the Arts. He received 5 awards, including Academy Award for Best Original Score, BAFTA Award for Best Original Music. His cause of death was colorectal cancer.
