Biography of Sakata Shōichi

Sakata Shōichi (* 18. January 1911 in Hiroshima; † 16. October 1970 in Nagoya) was a japanischer Physiker. He was 59 years old. His education included Kyoto University and University of Osaka. He worked at Kyoto University, University of Osaka and Nagoya University. His awards include Asahi Prize, Order of the Sacred Treasure and Imperial Prize of Japan Academy.
