Biography of Samuel G. Armistead

Samuel G. Armistead (* 21. August 1927 in Philadelphia; † 7. August 2013 in Davis) was an american ethnographer. He was 85 years old. His education included William Penn Charter School and Princeton University. He worked at Princeton University, University of California, Los Angeles, Purdue University, University of Pennsylvania and University of California, Davis. His awards include honorary doctorate of the University of Alcala, Guggenheim Fellowship and Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America.
