Biography of Sarah Caldwell

Sarah Caldwell (* 6. March 1924 in Maryville; † 23. March 2006 in Portland) was an uS-amerikanische Operndirigentin. She was 82 years old. Her education included Hendrix College, University of Arkansas, New England Conservatory, Bates College and Fayetteville High School. Her awards include National Medal of Arts and honorary doctor of the University of Miami.
