Biography of Saul Samuel

Saul Samuel (* 2. November 1820 in London; † 29. August 1900 in London) was an australian colonial merchant, member of parliament, magistrate, pastoralist, and Jewish community leader. He was 79 years old. He was married to Sara Louise Samuel and Henrietta Matilda Samuel. He had at least 5 children (4 sons and 1 daughter). His faith was Judaism. His awards include Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George, Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George and Companion of the Order of the Bath.
