Semjon Lungin (* 12. January 1920 in Serpukhov; † 29. January 1996 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian playwright and screenwriter. He was 76 years old. He was married to Lilianna Sinowjewna Lungina. He studied at Russian Institute of Theatre Arts. He worked at Top Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors. His awards include Honored art worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and N.K. Krupskaya's state award. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
