Semyon Kozak (* 23. May 1902 in Iskorost; † 24. December 1953 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) was a soviet military commander, twice Hero of the Soviet Union. He was 51 years old. He studied at M.V. Frunze Military Academy. His awards include Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of the Red Banner and Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
