Sergey Sokolov (* July 1, 1911 in Yevpatoriia; † August 31, 2012 in Moscow) was a soviet military commander. He was 101 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Military Academy of Armored Forces and Tashkent Higher Tank Command School. His awards include Order of the White Rose of Finland and Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
