Sergey Nikolaev (* 13. July 1889 in Moscow; † 1. January 1973 in Moscow) was a russian painter. He was 83 years old. He studied at Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry. He worked at Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. His awards include Stalin Prize, Merited Artist of the RSFSR and Order of the Red Banner of Labour. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
