Biography of Sérgio Paulo Rouanet

Sérgio Paulo Rouanet (* 23. February 1934 in Rio de Janeiro; † 3. July 2022 in Rio de Janeiro) was a brasilianischer Diplomat, Philosoph, Anthropologe, Übersetzer und Schriftsteller. He was 88 years old. His education included Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, George Washington University and University of São Paulo. His awards include Goethe Medal and Order of Cultural Merit (Brazil). His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
