Biography of Stanislav Petrov

Stanislav Petrov (* 3. April 1939 in Nizhny Novgorod; † 2. May 2026 in Moscow) was a russian Colonel-General in charge of chemical weapons troops. He was 87 years old. He received 7 awards, including Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class, Order of Military Merit.
