Stanley J. Korsmeyer (* 8. June 1950 in Beardstown; † 31. March 2005 in Boston) was an uS-amerikanischer Krebsforscher. He was 54 years old. He studied at University of Illinois at Chicago. He worked at Harvard University and Washington University in St. Louis. He received 7 awards, including Louisa Gross Horwitz Prize, Bristol-Myers Squibb Award for Distinguished Achievement in Cancer Research. His cause of death was lung cancer.
