Biography of Stefan Rolewicz

Stefan Rolewicz (* 15. March 1932 in Brest; † 9. July 2015 in Warsaw) was a polnischer Mathematiker. He was 83 years old. He was married to Danuta Przeworska-Rolewicz. He studied at University of Warsaw. He worked at Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences. His awards include Stefan Banach Prize and Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
