Biography of Stelian Dinu

Stelian Dinu (* 12. April 1912 in Sălciile; † 11. September 1997 in Caracal) was a composer and conductor of the "Doina" artistic ensemble of the Romanian Army. He was 85 years old. He studied at National University of Music Bucharest. He received 7 awards, including State Prize of the Romanian People's Republic, Order of the Star of the Hungarian People's Republic. He was buried at Ghencea Cemetery.
