Biography of Stepan Anastassowitsch Mikojan

Stepan Anastassowitsch Mikojan (* 12. July 1922 in Tbilisi; † 24. March 2017 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Testpilot. He was 94 years old. His education included Kacha Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots and Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. He worked at Chkalov State Flight Test Center of the Ministry of Defense, Russian Federation. He received 10 awards, including Zhukov Medal, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945". He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
